About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About stimulation of development of regions" concerning expansion of groups of the territories which are recognized depressive, and provisions of such status by it

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About stimulation of development of regions" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2005, N 51, Art. 548; 2009, N 51, Art. 756) such changes:

1) in Article 1:

the fourth to state the paragraph in such edition:

"the depressive territory - the region or its part (the area or the settlement) which are recognized depressive under conditions and according to the procedure, determined by this Law";

in paragraph five of the word "are located closed or" to exclude;

add with the paragraph the seventh such content:

"settlements in the territory of which since 1996 the coal-mining and uglepererabatyvayushchy companies were liquidated, but were not performed in full the actions for the solution of social and economic and environmental issues provided by projects of liquidation of the specified companies";

2) in Article 9:

state the name in such edition:

"Article 9. Social and economic and other indicators of development of the territory on which it can be acknowledged depressive";

the second to add part with Item 5 of such content:

"5) the settlement in the territory of which since 1996 the coal-mining and uglepererabatyvayushchy companies are liquidated, but the actions for the solution of social and economic and environmental issues provided by projects of liquidation of noted companies were not performed in full".

2. This Law becomes effective since January 1, 2012.
