2. Determine that the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine is legal successor:

Ministries of Economics of Ukraine;

The ministries of industrial policy of Ukraine regarding forming and realization of industrial policy;

The state committee of Ukraine concerning regulatory policy and entrepreneurship regarding forming and realization of the state regulatory policy, state policy concerning development of entrepreneurship, licensing and authorization system, in the field of economic activity;

Public service of technical regulation of Ukraine regarding forming and realization of state policy in the field of technical regulation (standardization, metrology, certifications, estimates (confirmation) of compliance, quality management), and also forming and realization of state policy in the field of consumer protection (except functions on realization of state policy concerning the state control in the field of consumer protection; functions on forming and realization of state policy on safety issues of foodstuff).

Regulations on the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine

1. The Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine (the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine is a part of the system of executive bodies and is principal organ in system of the central executive bodies on forming and ensuring realization of state policy of economic and social development, price, investment, external economic policy, state policy in spheres of trade, intellectual property, the state regional policy, state policy concerning development of entrepreneurship, technical regulation and consumer protection, and also interagency coordination concerning economic and social cooperation of Ukraine with the European Union.
