About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning enhancement of procedure for assistance to families with children, lower-income strata and improvements of their social protection

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. Paragraph two of part one of article 7 of the Law of Ukraine "About the government public assistance to needy families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2000, No. 35, Art. 290; 2009, 16, the Art. 222) after words and figures "aged up to 18 years" to add No. with words and figures "for disabled people of the II group as a result of mental disturbance".

2. In the Law of Ukraine "About government assistance to families with children" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, No. 20, Art. 102 with the following changes):

The paragraph the fifth parts one of Article 8 to exclude 1);

The first - third of Article 18-1 to state 2) to part in such edition:

"Lonely mothers (not married), lonely adoptive parents have the right to the help to children to lonely mothers if in the certificate of birth of the child or the document on the child's birth issued by competent authorities of foreign state on condition of its legalization in the procedure (the decision on adoption of the child) established by the legislation, there is no record about the father (mother) or record about the father (mother) it is carried out in accordance with the established procedure by body of state registration of acts of civil status on specifying of mother (the father, the adoptive father) of the child.

Mother (father) of children in case of the death of one of parents who do not receive on them pension in case of loss of the supporter or social pension has the right to the help to children to lonely mothers (fathers).
