The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and the State committee of border troops of the Republic of Belarus, on the one hand, and Customs department under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania and Security service of frontier under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, on the other hand, hereinafter referred to as with the Parties,

recognizing that violations of the customs legislation cause damage to economic interests of their states,

being convinced that purposeful control of some types of goods and vehicles to whom they move, in the territory between check points through frontier of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania will promote more effective fight against violations of the customs legislation of the states of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following terms are applied:

"goods" - the goods specified in Appendix 1 to this agreement, moved with road transport;

"the transferring customs authority" - customs authority of one of the Parties which performs transfer of goods and vehicles to whom they move, and also shipping documents;

"the accepting customs authority" - customs authority of one of the Parties which performs acceptance of goods and vehicles to whom they move, and also shipping documents;

"the priyemo-transfer sheet" - the document in which the fact of reception-transmission of goods and vehicles to whom they move, and also shipping documents from the transferring customs authority to the accepting customs authority is fixed.
