in view of provisions of the Single convention on drugs of 1961 with the amendments made to it according to the Protocol of 1972 on amendments to the Single convention on drugs of 1961, the Convention on psychotropic substances of 1971, the Convention of the United Nations on fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances of 1988

being guided by provisions of the Agreement on cooperation of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in fight against drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and precursors of November 30, 2000,

proceeding from mutual interest in acceptance of the effective measures directed to fight against drug trafficking and their precursors

agreed as follows:

Article 1

1. Subject of this agreement is the cooperation of the Parties for the purpose of the organization of effective counteraction to drug trafficking and their precursors.

2. The parties perform cooperation based on this agreement within the competence and in case of compliance with law and the international obligations of the states.

3. This agreement does not raise the questions of issue and rendering legal assistance on criminal cases.

Article 2

1. The cooperation of the Parties within this agreement is performed in the following forms:

a) exchange of operational, statistical, scientific and methodical and other information concerning counteraction to drug trafficking and their precursors;
