The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the State committee of border troops of the Republic of Belarus and Public service of the income of the Republic of Latvia, the State boundary protection of the Republic of Latvia (further - the Parties),

being convinced that uncontrolled finding of some types of goods and vehicles to whom they move, in the territory between check points through Frontier of the states of the Parties can cause damage to economic interests of the states of the Parties,

in view of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on cooperation and mutual aid in customs affairs of May 16, 1996,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For application of this agreement the following terms are used:

goods - the goods specified in Appendix 1 to this agreement, moved with road transport;

the transferring Customs Service - the Customs Service of the state performing transfer of goods, vehicles and shipping documents;

the accepting Customs Service - the Customs Service of the state performing acceptance of goods, vehicles and shipping documents;

the transfer sheet - the document which fixes the fact of transfer of goods, vehicles on which they move, and shipping documents from the accepting Customs Service transferring to. The transfer sheet is constituted in duplicate on one for each of Customs Services of the states of the relevant Parties. The form of the transfer sheet is specified in Appendix 2 * to this agreement.
