The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus and Bank of Lithuania which are hereinafter referred to as "Party" agreed as follows:
1. Calculations and payments between the participants of civil legal relationship who are those according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania (further - participants of civil legal relationship), are performed in national currencies of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania or in the transaction chosen by the parties to currency, foreign concerning the Republic of Belarus or the Republic of Lithuania, according to the legislation existing in the territory of each of the states of the Parties.
2. In case of the conclusion in the procedure for transactions established by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania between participants of civil legal relationship the payment currency and form of payment under these transactions taking into account requirements of Item 1 of this Article are determined.
1. 1 calculations specified in Article and payments are made through correspondent accounts of the credit institutes of the Republic of Belarus having the corresponding license for carrying out foreign currency transactions granted by National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, and correspondent accounts of credit institutes of the Republic of Lithuania, having the license without restrictions for carrying out foreign currency transactions granted by Bank of Lithuania (further - the Parties the granted licenses). 1 calculations specified in Article and payments can be made through accounts which participants of civil legal relationship of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Lithuania in the procedure established by the legislation of the states of the Parties have in bank, foreign in relation to the relevant Party.
