The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

based on the Agreement on interaction in the field of hydrometeorology of February 8, 1992,

considering the specialization of the companies for production of hydrometeorological devices which developed in the territories of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

understanding need of observance of the approved methodology of observations, technologies of collection, distribution and storage of hydrometeorological information and data on environment condition, including in case of natural disasters, and also accomplishment of the appropriate state programs, international obligations within the World meteorological information,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Subject of this agreement are the Commonwealths of Independent States made in the State Parties hydrometeorological devices, the equipment, spare parts to them, the consumable aerological materials (relating to raw material resources), which are hereinafter referred to as - the "goods" used by national hydrometeorological services for ensuring operational observations of condition of the atmosphere, the soil, water resources, collection, distribution and storage of the relevant information agrees to the enclosed "Commodity list".

Article 2

Amounts of the goods which are subject to export (import) are determined by bilateral agreements (contracts) between national hydrometeorological services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The goods which are exported (imported) on the conditions provided by this agreement shall be used by national hydrometeorological services only for the purposes specified in Article 1 of this agreement.

Article 3

Goods delivered according to this agreement on the basis of bilateral agreements (contracts) are exempted from customs duties and taxes, and also are not subject to licensing and quoting.
