Due to the expiration on June 26, 2003 of the duration of the agreement (which became effective from the moment of the notification of depositary the second state about accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for its entry into force) to extend the duration of the agreement for 10 years.

2. The this Protocol is subject to ratification or approval by the Parties which signed it, is temporarily applied from the date of its signing and becomes effective from the date of delivery on storage to depositary of the second ratification letter or notification on its approval and is integral part of the above-named Agreement.

It is made in the city of St. Petersburg on May 30, 2003 in one authentic copy in Russian. The authentic copy is stored in Executive committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States which will send to each state which signed the this Protocol, its verified copy.
