About temporary import licensing of breeding farm animals and their breeding products

According to article 8 of the Agreement on procedure for introduction and application of the measures affecting foreign trade in goods on single customs area concerning the third countries of June 9, 2009 the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus DECIDES:

1. Determine that from December 1, 2011 to June 1, 2012 import on the territory of the Customs union of breeding farm animals and their breeding products according to appendix is performed under the one-time licenses granted by the Ministry of Trade in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food according to the procedure, similar established by the Agreement on rules of licensing in the field of foreign trade in goods of June 9, 2009 concerning goods to which prohibitions or import restrictions or export by state members of the Customs union within Eurasian economic community in trade with the third countries are applied.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has the right to draw written conclusions about reference of the farm animals (products) imported on the territory of the Republic of Belarus to breeding farm animals (breeding products) whose import is performed according to the licenses granted by the Ministry of Trade.

2. To the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in accordance with the established procedure:

notify the Commission of the Customs union on introduction of the measures specified in Item 1 of this resolution;

submit the offer on application of the measures specified in Item 1 of this resolution, other state members of the Customs union for consideration of the Commission of the Customs union.
