About measures for protection of economic interests of producers of caramel in the Customs union

According to the Agreement on procedure for application of special protective, anti-dumping and countervailing measures during the transition period of November 19, 2010 the Commission of the Customs union solved:

1. Establish concerning the caramel imported on single customs area of the Customs union classified by codes 1704 90 710 0, 1704 90 750 0, 1806 90 500 1, 1806 90 500 2 FEACN CU, the special duty:

from June 15, 2013 to December 14, 2013 inclusive in the amount of 283, the 8th US dollar for 1000 kilograms;

from December 15, 2013 to July 7, 2014 inclusive in the amount of 273, the 5th US dollar for 1000 kilograms.

For the purposes of application of the specified special duty the goods are determined both by the FEACN CU codes, and description of goods.

2. Action of the special duty established by this Decision does not extend to import of the caramel coming from developing countries - users of system of tariff preferences of the Customs union, except for People's Republic of China, the Republic of Turkey and the Federative Republic of Brazil.

3. To provide to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Federal Customs Service collection of the special duty established by this Decision.

4. The protective measure established in the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning the commodity importation specified in Item 1 of this Decision stops the action from the effective date of this Decision.

5. This Decision becomes effective after thirty calendar days after day of its official publication.
