About modification and amendments in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About telecommunications"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 20, 1999 N 822-I "About telecommunications" (Sheets of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 1999, N 9, Art. 219; 2004, N 9, Art. 171; Sheets of chambers of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 2005, N 9, Art. 311; 2006, N 4, Art. 157; 2007, N 9, Art. 414) following changes and amendments:

1) in Article 2:

to state the paragraph of the sixth in the following edition:

"the terminal (terminal) equipment - the technical means of users of services of telecommunications interacting with networks of telecommunications, intended for forming, transformation, processing of the signals transmitted or accepted on networks of telecommunications";

add with paragraphs the fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth the following content:

"domain name - the unique name appropriated to information resource or information system, serving for their identification in the world information Internet;

system of domain names - procedure for assignment, registration and use of domain names on the world information Internet;

certification of networks of telecommunications - complex of the organizatsionnotekhnichesky actions directed to determination of compliance of condition of security of networks of telecommunications to requirements of state standards and regulatory legal acts in information security fields";

2) in Article 8 part one:

the thirteenth to state the paragraph in the following edition:

"develops and approves procedure for use of address space, determines system of domain names of national segment of the world information Internet";

add with the paragraph the eighteenth the following content:
