in view of difficult financial position of the Kyrgyz Republic,

recognizing need of the fastest settlement of debt problem of the Kyrgyz Republic on the public credits granted by the Russian Federation

for the purpose of further mutually beneficial cooperation and strengthening of friendship between two countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1 of Category of debt

Provisions of this agreement will be applied to debt of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Russian Federation on the loans granted according to the agreements signed till June 1, 2000 irrespective of the mechanisms of repayment established in the credit agreements which are earlier concluded by the Parties.

Article 2 Ureguliruyemy amounts

1. Provisions of this agreement will be applied to the following categories of credit debt provided according to the agreements signed till June 1, 2000:

a) the outstanding amount of the Kyrgyz Republic in front of the Russian Federation on principal debt and percent on the granted public credits, due for settlement as of April 1, 2001 inclusive and outstanding, constitutes 32962845, 62 US dollars;

b) the outstanding amount of the Kyrgyz Republic in front of the Russian Federation on principal debt on the granted public credits, due for settlement since April 2, 2001 till December 31, 2002 inclusive, constitutes 24805838, the 89th US dollar;

c) the outstanding amount of the Kyrgyz Republic in front of the Russian Federation on percent on the granted public credits which is subject to payment from April 2, 2001 to May 20, 2001 inclusive constitutes 1567404, 53 US dollars.
