About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About space activities"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

1. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About space activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1997, No. 1, Art. 2; 2000, No. 22, Art. 172; 2010, No. 30, Art. 393) such changes:

Part the second Article 5 to state 1) in such edition:

"Forming and realization of state policy in the field of space activities are provided by the central executive body concerning space activities";

Article 6 after the paragraph of the sixth to add 2) with the new paragraph of such content:

"provides creation and operation of land and space segments of satellite communication systems, broadcasting and remote sensing of Earth, control and the analysis of space situation, coordinate and hour and navigation providing".

The name of Article 13 to state 3) in such edition:

"Article 13. Registration of spacecrafts and unique objects of space activities";

Article 22 to state 4) in such edition:

"Article 22. Protection of the space equipment and property of subjects of space activities

Protection of the space equipment during production, testing, transportation and operation on the Earth's surface and property of subjects of space activities is provided according to the legislation.

When transporting the space equipment which poses threat for life and human health or the environment special transport under protection according to the procedure, approved by the central executive body concerning space activities in coordination with the central executive body in industry of transport and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine is used.
