1. General provisions

1. These rules are developed according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 1, 2011 "About state-owned property" and regulate procedure for competitive selection, appointment and certification of the head of the state company, and also approval of its candidate, except for the first heads of the separate state companies of education appointed to position and dismissed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (further – the companies).

2. Competitive selection, appointment and certification of the director, and also approval of its candidate are made by authorized bodies of the corresponding industry (local executive bodies).
