According to the subitem 8) of Item 2 and the subitem 3) of Item 13 of article 159 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan of September 18, 2009 "About health of the people and health care system" the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. Approve enclosed:

1) Rules of placement on pack of tobacco product, packaging of tobacco product of information about structure, about the level of content of resinous substances, nicotine and about system poisons, cancerogenic and mutagen substances (further – Rules);

2) the warnings of harm of smoking placed on pack of tobacco product, packaging of tobacco product (further – Preventions).

2. This resolution becomes effective after ten calendar days after the first official publication, except for Items 4, of 6 Rules and Items 2, 5 Preventions which become effective after eighteen months from the date of enforcement of this resolution. Item 5 of Rules voids after eighteen months from the date of enforcement of this resolution.
