The Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by intentions to develop among themselves friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation on the basis of the conventional principles and rules of international law,

for the purpose of realization of provisions of the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Republic Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation of June 10, 1992,

proceeding from mutual interest in implementation of effective cooperation for the purpose of ensuring reliable protection of borders with the states which are not entering the Commonwealth of Independent States

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the applied terms mean:

"frontier of the Kyrgyz Republic" - frontier of the Kyrgyz Republic with People's Republic of China, and also check points through frontier of the Kyrgyz Republic, open for the international message;

"Task force of FPS of Russia" - the structural division of the Federal Border Service of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic created according to Article 5 of this agreement, and also the competent authorities of the Russian Side provided by the Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation and concerning jurisdiction and mutual legal assistance on the cases connected with stay of military forming of the Russian Federation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, of March 28, 1996 and performing the activities based on this Agreement in the part concerning Task force of FPS of Russia;

"military personnel of Task force of FPS of Russia" - the military personnel of the Federal Border Service of the Russian Federation passing military service in Task force of FPS of Russia;
