About introduction of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "About tourism" concerning provision of tourist services

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Bring in the Law of Ukraine "About tourism" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2004, No. 13, Art. 180; 2009, No. 38, Art. 535; 2010, No. 49, Art. 567; 2011, No. 11, Art. 69; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 8, 2011 No. 3679-VI) such changes:

1. Add with Article 19-1 of such content:

"Article 19-1. Informing consumers on conditions of provision of tourist services

Any information provided by tour operator (travel agent) shall contain authentic data on terms of the contract on tourist servicing.

Information on conditions of provision of tourist services which the tour operator (travel agent) distributes to the conclusion of the contract for tourist servicing shall be led up in available, evident form, to be legible, clear and to contain data about:

1) place of provision of tourist services, program of tourist servicing;

2) the characteristic of vehicles which transport, in particular their type and category;

3) the characteristic of the hotels and other objects intended for provision of services on temporary placement including the place of their arrangement, category, data on confirmation of conformity of services of hotel to the established requirements, terms and payment procedure of hotel servicing;

4) types and methods of providing food during the tourist travel;

5) the minimum number of tourists in group, and also informing the tourist that the tourist travel will not take place because of group shortage, not later than three days before the beginning of tourist travel;

6) price of tourist services.

The tour operator (travel agent) shall comply with conditions of provision of complex of tourist services on which the consumer to the conclusion of the contract for tourist servicing was informed, except cases when the consumer to the conclusion of the agreement is informed of change of such conditions or if changes are made based on the agreement signed between agreement parties.
