About additional measures for reducing production costs and decrease in product cost in the industry

For the purpose of increase in product competitiveness of domestic manufacturers, expansion of amounts of its realization in the internal and external markets, the Cabinet of Ministers decides ensuring their stable work and increase in the export potential:

1. Take into consideration that economic associations and large industrial enterprises together with the Ministry of Economics and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan developed and approve the item-by-item packages of measures directed to decrease in cost of industrial output due to rationalization of engineering procedures and consumption rates of raw materials, materials and energy resources, increases in level of use of production capacities and gain in productivity of work, reducing operating and unproductive costs, optimizations of number of personnel and other factors.

2. Approve the offers of economic associations and the companies approved with the Ministry of Economics, the Ministry of Finance and the State committee on demonopolization and development of the competition of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on summary parameters of item-by-item reducing cost of production in economic associations and on large industrial enterprises in 2012 on average on percent 11,2 according to appendix No. 1.

To heads of the ministries, departments and economic associations, proceeding from the approved summary parameters of reducing cost on industry, in ten-day time to approve target parameters of reducing cost for the industrial enterprises which are their part.

3. To heads of complexes of the Cabinet of Ministers, ministries, departments, economic associations and companies: establish quarterly monitoring of the course of realization of the taken measures for decrease in product cost at the companies;
