About modification and amendments in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic"

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic" (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2007, No. 5, the Art. 461) the following changes and amendment:

1. To declare Item 1 of part 2 of Article 13 invalid.

2. To state part 2 of Article 14 in the following edition:

"2. The persons who are ethnic Kyrgyz, having nationality of foreign state or without nationality, the former citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in case of return to the permanent residence to the Kyrgyz Republic, and also the foreign citizens and female persons without citizenship who married the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic and arriving to the permanent residence to the Kyrgyz Republic are accepted in nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic without presentation of condition about accommodation term in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and without observance of conditions, stipulated in Article 13 and part of 1 this Article, in the terms established by the legislation. Their acceptance in nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic is performed without preliminary getting out of nationality of other state based on their written address about acceptance to nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic with indication of refusal of nationality of other state.".

3. Add Article 35 with the paragraph the second the following content:

"The ethnic Kyrgyz, foreign citizens and female persons without citizenship who married the citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic in case of receipt of nationality of the Kyrgyz Republic are exempted from payment of the state fees and consular fees.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective from the date of official publication.

To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
