About approval of Rules of issue of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases

1. Approve the enclosed Rules of issue of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases.

2. Declare invalid the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of February 11, 2008 No. 128 "About approval of Rules of restriction, suspension or decrease in emissions of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere" (SAPP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 2008, No. 7, the Art. 74).

3. This resolution becomes effective after ten calendar days from the date of the first official publication.

Rules of issue of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases

1. General provisions

1. These rules of issue of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases (further - Rules) establish procedure for issue of quotas for emissions of greenhouse gases in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. In these rules the following terms and determinations are used:

1) the account of operator of the quota installation - type of the account in the state register of carbon units of the Republic of Kazakhstan opened for the users of nature falling under requirements for quoting of emissions of greenhouse gases;
