About amounts and procedure for import by citizens to customs area of Ukraine of foodstuff for own consumption

According to Article 378 of the Customs code of Ukraine the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Determine that:

1) citizens can import on customs area of Ukraine foodstuff for own consumption for the total amount which does not exceed equivalent of 200 euros as like as two peas, in such amounts:

in packaging of the producer, intended for retail trade, - in quantity no more than one packaging or the lump which does not exceed 2 kilograms, each name as like as two peas;

unpacked - in quantity which does not exceed 2 kilograms of each name as like as two peas;

unpacked - the indivisible product ready to the direct use, in quantity no more than according to one name as like as two peas;

2) during import by citizens to customs area of Ukraine of the specified foodstuff their declaring is performed (by making of actions, orally or in writing at the request of the owner of such products or upon the demand of the official of customs).

2. Declare invalid the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of December 13, 2001 No. 1652 "About amounts and procedure for import by citizens to customs area of Ukraine of food for own consumption and the list of objects which cannot be carried to personal belongings of citizens" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2001, No. 51, by the Art. 2273).

3. This resolution becomes effective since June 1, 2012.
