According to article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About consumer protection" the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:
1. Approve the Inventory (works, services) which are subject to obligatory certification (appendices 1 and 2).
2. To assign coordination of activities of the bodies exercising control of safety of goods (works, services) to standardization Agency, metrology, certification and trade inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
3. Under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to provide to standardization agency, metrology, certification and trade inspection in accordance with the established procedure the organization and work for obligatory confirmation of conformity of goods (works, services).
4. To standardization agency, metrology, certification and trade inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to inform Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the operating, again formed accredited bodies on certification of homogeneous products in National system of certification of the Republic of Tajikistan on the corresponding group of products with indication of the inventory relating to their area of accreditation.
5. To customs authorities of the Republic of Tajikistan to perform free circulation of the import products which are subject to obligatory certification on customs area of the Republic of Tajikistan according to the procedure established by the Customs code of the Republic of Tajikistan.
6. Under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the established procedure to represent to standardization agency, metrology, certification and trade inspection to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan offers on change of the Inventory (works, services) which are subject to obligatory certification.
7. Declare invalid the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of October 1, 2008 No. 486 "About the Inventory (works, services) which are subject to obligatory certification"
