aiming to develop cooperation of Customs Services and to give mutual aid in preparation and advanced training of officials of customs authorities,

for the purpose of implementation of the Agreement between the governments of state members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs of November 2, 2007

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of the this Protocol the following terms are used:

"educational institution" - educational institution in which training of customs authorities of the states of the Parties is performed;

"sending party" - the Party directing officials of customs authorities of the state for preparation and advanced training in educational institutions of the states of other Parties;

"host party" - the Party accepting officials of customs authorities of the states of other Parties for preparation and advanced training in educational institutions of the state.

Article 2

The parties perform preparation and advanced training of officials of customs authorities in educational institutions by the curricula and programs constituted according to the state educational standards and the customs legislation of the state of the host party.

For the benefit of educational process of the Party also develop the joint curricula which are based on curricula of the state of the host party, and considering wishes of the sending party to the organization of educational process.

The parties coordinate plans of scientific and methodical works for the benefit of educational process.
