About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the international peace support operations and safety

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to the following laws of Ukraine:

1. In the paragraph the second Item 2 of article 11 of the Law of Ukraine "About social and legal protection of the military personnel and members of their families" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992 No. 15, Art. 190; 51, the Art. 519) words "peacekeeping transactions" shall be replaced with words 2006 No. "peace support operations and safety".

2. In Item "ї" parts one of article 17 of the Law of Ukraine "About provision of pensions of persons discharged from military service and some other persons" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1992 No. 29, Art. 399; 37, the Art. 318) words of "Peacekeeping Forces of the UN" shall be replaced with words 2006 No. "the national contingent or personnel".

3. In the paragraph the second Item 2 parts one of article 6 of the Law of Ukraine "About the status of veterans of war, guarantees of their social protection" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993 No. 45, Art. 425; 1996 No. 1, Art. 1; 2006 No. 14, of the Art. 116) of the word of "accomplishment of peacekeeping missions" shall be replaced with words "participations in the international peace support operations and safety".

4. In the Law of Ukraine "About participation of Ukraine in the international peacekeeping transactions" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999 No. 22-23, of Art. 202; 2004 No. 7, Art. 50):

"Peacekeeping transactions" shall be replaced with words 1) in the name of the Law of the word "peace support operations and safety";
