About modification and amendments in some legal acts
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
Art. I. - Part (4) article 4 of the Law on the administrative-territorial device of the Republic of Moldova No. 764-XV of December 27, 2001 (2002, No. 16, the Art. 53), with subsequent changes, after the word "areas" to add the official monitor of the Republic of Moldova with words ", municipiums of Chisinau and Belts".
Art. II. - In the Law on local public authority No. 436-XVI of December 28, 2006 (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2007. No. 32-35, of the Art. 116), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:
1. In Article 1 in the concept "bodies of local public authority of the second level" of the word "municipium of Chisinau" shall be replaced with words "municipiums of Chisinau and Belts,".
2. Add the law with Chapter VII-1 of the following content:
"Chapter VII-1 PUBLIC MANAGEMENT of BELTs MUNICIPIUM
Article 59-1. Bodies of public management of municipium of Belts
(1) Public control of municipium of Belts is exercised municipal and village councils as authorized bodies and primary municipium of Belts, primarama of villages as the executive authority.
(2) the Organization and functioning of bodies of public management of municipium of Belts are regulated by the provisions of this law applied as appropriate relating to bodies of local public authority of the first and second levels and also provisions of the Law on the statute of municipium of Belts.
Article 59-2. Coordination of activities of bodies of public management of municipium of Belts
(1) Council of municipium of Belts coordinates activities of councils of the administrativnoterritorialny units which are part of municipium concerning provision of public services of municipal value.
(2) Council of municipium of Belts performs as appropriate the powers provided by this law for local council and the Law on the statute of municipium of Belts.
