aiming to provide favorable conditions for development of military and technical cooperation,

recognizing need of ensuring protection of political, military and technical and economic interests of the states of the Parties by delivery of products, works and military services to the third countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The concepts used in this agreement mean the following:

"military products" - arms, military equipment, ammunition, spare parts, components, auxiliary, rear and other military and technical property, technical documentation (normative and technical, design, technological, operational and program), regulating military turnover of products, lease, financial leasing of arms and military equipment, scientific and technical assistance in the organization of development, production, upgrade, repair, operation and destruction (utilization) of military products;

"authorized bodies of the Parties" - the state bodies determined according to the legislation of the states of the Parties under which authority questions of state regulation of military and technical cooperation are;

"the subject of military and technical cooperation" - the organization, the company, consolidation which according to the legislation of the states of the Parties are granted the right to implementation of foreign trade activity concerning military products;

"the third countries" - the states, not being participants of this agreement;
