About modification and amendments in the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of May 15, 1999 No. 218

According to article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About legal status of foreign citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan" and for the purpose of regulation of questions of stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decides:

1. Add Item 2 of Rules of stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan and rules of transit of foreign citizens through the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, approved by the order of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan of May 15, 1999, No. 218 with the paragraph of the following content:

"Citizens of the states specified in appendix to these rules are exempted from registration of the established identity documents, in law-enforcement bodies according to the principle of reciprocity for the terms provided in the called appendix".

2. Add Rules with appendix of the following content:

"Appendix to Rules of stay of foreign citizens in the Republic of Tajikistan and rules of transit of foreign citizens through the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The list of the states which citizens are exempted from registration of the established identity documents, in law-enforcement bodies according to the principle of reciprocity:

1. The Kyrgyz Republic - 60 days.".

3. To the relevant ministries and departments to take adequate measures on implementation of this resolution.
