The state inventory of especially protected natural territories contains system of data on assessment of condition of natural fund, determination of perspectives of development and ensuring their protection, carrying out scientific research, the state control of preserving gene pool and observance of the corresponding mode, and also accounting of these territories when planning social and economic development and placement productive, forces in the region and other values of especially protected natural territories and adjusts the mode of protection and procedure for its use.
2. This Procedure is developed according to article 10 of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About especially protected natural territories" and determines procedure for maintaining the State inventory of especially protected natural territories.
