Rules on phytosanitary protection of forest fund against wreckers and diseases

1. These rules regulate protection of forest fund from wreckers and diseases.

2. Protection of forest fund from wreckers and diseases is provided by permanent observation of condition of forest fund, identification of sources of wreckers and diseases, carrying out in these places of preventive and phytosanitary actions, prevention of distribution of such cases and their elimination.

3. Preventive and phytosanitary actions of forest fund are performed by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Azerbaijan Republic.

4. Protection of forest fund against wreckers and diseases consists of the following actions:

current, expeditionary, aviavisual and other forest pathological observations;

general, primary check of education of wreckers and diseases and detailed observation of them;

preparation of actions for pest control and diseases by means of aircraft and land means;
