About additional measures for development of fair trade in domestic nonfood consumer goods

For the purpose of the maximum satisfaction of the consumer market and its saturation with high-quality competitive consumer goods of national production, the organization of carrying out on system basis of the regional Cabinet of Ministers trade fairs decides:

1. Approve the offer of the Ministry of Economics, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan on carrying out on permanent basis, first of all in the rural zone, trade fairs of modern domestic nonfood consumer goods.

2. Determine additional tasks of the Ministry of Economic Development and reducing poverty:

the organization and carrying out on permanent basis of trade fairs of domestic nonfood consumer goods, first of all in the rural zone;

attraction for participation in trade fairs of wide range of the domestic enterprises issuing competitive nonfood consumer goods including subjects of small business and private entrepreneurship;

determination of the nomenclature of the types of nonfood consumer goods which are in great demand and on this basis development of recommendations about growth in volumes of their production, and also to increasing the product range, improvement of their design and quality;

rendering assistance in establishment of business contacts between the manufacturing companies, the trade and intermediary organizations and consumers of products of nonfood consumer goods.

3. Approve Complex actions for preparation and carrying out on permanent basis of trade fairs of modern domestic nonfood consumer goods according to appendix No. 2.

4. To provide to Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and the city of Tashkent necessary conditions for holding trade fairs, including by allocation on a grant basis of rooms, it is preferential in the malls equipped with the necessary trade and exhibition equipment.
