For the purpose of further enhancement of system of preparation of the highly qualified legal personnel meeting the high requirements of the democratic and legal reforms undertaken in the country, forming of civil society and to modern international standards:
1. Transform the Tashkent state legal institute to the Tashkent state legal university (further - TGYuU).

carrying out complex scientific research on urgent legal problems of the state construction and management, upgrade of judicial system of law, development of the legal basis of deepening of market reforms, studying of the international experience in this sphere;
ensuring effective implementation of results of scientific developments in law-enforcement practice, educational process;
