About introduction of amendments to the laws of Ukraine "About land and cartographic activities" and "About land management"

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. In the Law of Ukraine "About land and cartographic activities" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1999, No. 5-6, of Art. 46 with subsequent changes):

Paragraphs of the third and sixth Article 5 to state 1) in such edition:

"the central executive body which provides forming of state policy in industry of topografogeodezichesky and cartographic activities, the central executive body which realizes state policy in the field of land relations";

"legal entities and physical persons which own necessary technical and technological support and as a part of which on principle place of employment there is the certified surveying engineer who is responsible for quality of results of topografogeodezichesky and cartographic works";

Article 5-1 to state 2) in such edition:

"Article 5-1. Professional training and staffing in the field of land and cartographic activities

Persons who have the higher education behind specialties and qualifications in geodesy industry can be engaged in professional topografo-geodezichna and cartographic activities.

The certified surveying engineers bear responsibility for quality of results of land and cartographic works.

The certified surveying engineer can be person who has length of service in the specialty at least than one year, passed qualification examination, received the qualification certificate and is entered in the State register of the certified inzhenerovgeodezist according to requirements of this Law.

The person limited in capacity to act or recognized incapacitated by a court decision cannot be the certified surveying engineer.

The surveying engineer interested in passing qualification examination gives to the Qualification commission:

the statement of the established sample;

the copy of the document on the higher education on obrazovatelno qualification level of the specialist or master;

the document which confirms length of service.
