About biological managing and production
This Law establishes legal and organizational basis of activities of biological managing and is directed to production, conversion, storage, transportation, packaging, marking and realization of environmentally friendly products.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- biological managing - the form of agricultural activities promoting preserving natural balance of live organisms and the environment in case of which for cultivation of plants, care of farm animals, and also pest control and diseases only natural nutritious and not chemicals and means are used;
- environmentally friendly products - agricultural products which are made, processed and on sale according to requirements of biological managing, identical to the concepts used in the international legal acts "biological", "organic" and "natural";
- biological production - the production process of agricultural products performed without use of artificial chemicals (the mineral fertilizers, pesticides, means regulating development of plants, nutritional supplements to forage of farm animals) and also including certification and turnover of environmentally friendly products;
- the technical regulation of biological production - the technical regulation establishing the technical requirements, obligatory for observance, connected with safety of environmentally friendly products, processes of its development, production, operation, storage, transportation, realization, utilization of their waste, performance of works and rendering services regarding safety;
