Article 1. According to the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic state language of the Kyrgyz Republic is the Kyrgyz language.
The Kyrgyz language as one of the main bases of statehood of the Kyrgyz Republic functions without fail in all spheres of the state activities and local self-government according to the procedure, provided by this Law and other laws of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Article 2. The government of the Kyrgyz Republic creates all necessary conditions for functioning and support of the constitutional status of state language, adopts and finances state programs on its studying and development, and also training in state language.
Article 3. The Kyrgyz language as state language is considered also language of international communication in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Article 4. Functioning of state language in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic does not interfere with use of other languages.
The Kyrgyz Republic adheres to the principle of free development of languages of representatives of other nationalities living in the republic.
