In the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of December 28, 1999 No. 1994 "About measures for ensuring accomplishment by the Republic of Kazakhstan of the obligations following from the Convention on international trade in the types of wild fauna and flora which are under the threat of disappearance" (SAPP of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 1999, No. 58, the Art. 569):

"1. Appoint the Ministry of environmental protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan by administrative authority of the Convention on international trade in the types of wild fauna and flora which are under the threat of disappearance (further - the Convention), in the Republic of Kazakhstan.";
