About measures for enhancement of the organization of carrying out cash and prize lotteries

For the purpose of attraction of cash money in bank turnover, additional accumulation of free money resources of the population for implementation of regional social programs, activation of carrying out cash and prize lotteries and enhancement of regulatory framework of their Cabinet of Ministers organization decides:

1. Assign functions of regulation of activities for the organization of cash and prize lotteries to Agency on market development of the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2. Grant to People's Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan the right of the organization and carrying out cash and prize lotteries.

Determine that income gained from the organization of carrying out cash and prize lotteries by People's Bank remains at its order with their target direction on activation of work on attraction of available funds of the population in deposits.

3. Recognize reasonable creation under Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent of specialized self-supporting structures on the organization of regional lotteries, having assigned to them the following main objectives:

organization and carrying out different types of regional lotteries;

participation in carrying out the lotteries organized by charitable organizations and funds;

accumulation of the income from carrying out lotteries as additional source of means for realization in regions of measures for education of healthy generation, to development of physical culture and sport, improvement of settlements and enhancement of infrastructure, implementation of other social programs.

4. Approve Regulations on procedure for the organization and carrying out lotteries according to appendix.
