About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on international treaties of the Republic of Moldova No. 595-XIV of September 24, 1999 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, Art. No. 24-26, 137), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Article 2:

to add the concept "international treaty" after the words "international treaty" with words "(the agreement which is referred to as further also)";

after the concept "clause" to add Article with concept of the following content:

"the statement - the specifying, other than clause, formulated during the signing, ratification, acceptance, approval of the international treaty or accession to it or at other moment according to provisions of the agreement by means of which interpretation of some provisions of the agreement by the Moldavian side is given or by means of which the Moldavian side performs the notifications provided by the agreement;";

exclude the concept "publication of the agreement".

2. Parts (2) and (Article 7 to state 3) in the following edition:

"(2) the President of the Republic of Moldova or the Government of the Republic of Moldova makes the decision on initiation of negotiations. In case of the conclusion of the international treaties specified in part (1) Articles 11, precede decision making about initiation of negotiations consultations with the Commission of Parliament on foreign policy and the European integration. For this purpose the Commissions the inquiry of the advisory proceeding together with reasons for need of the conclusion of the international treaty with indication of possible political, financial and economic or other effects of the conclusion of the international treaty, the draft agreement in state language and if necessary - in foreign language, the conclusion of the Ministry of Justice about compliance of the draft of the international treaty to provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and to the national legal system, the conclusions of other ministries and relevant central industry administrative authorities is sent.
