About approval of "Rules of assignment of the international standard identification numbers" and "Amount of payment for assignment of the international standard identification numbers"

For the purpose of ensuring execution of subitem 1.1.3 of the Presidential decree of the Azerbaijan Republic "About application of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About guarantee of intellectual property rights and fight against piracy" of May 22, 2012" of July 6, 2012 the No. 668 Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic decides No. 365-IVQ:

1. Approve "Rules of assignment of the international standard identification numbers" (appendix No. 1).

2. Approve "The amount of payment for assignment of the international standard identification numbers" (appendix No. 2).

Rules of assignment of the international standard identification numbers

1. General provisions

1.1. These rules are prepared according to article 12 of the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About guarantee of intellectual property rights and fight against piracy" (further - the Law) and determine procedures of assignment to the books, musical notations, periodicals, audiovisual works and audio-videos issued in the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic, the international standard identification numbers according to ISBN, ISMN, ISSN, ISAN, ISRC.

1.2. The international standard identification numbers mean following:

1.2.1. SBN (InternatIonal Standard Book Number) - number determining the international standard identity of the book;
