About approval of the Regulations on military educational divisions of higher educational institutions

1. Approve Regulations on military educational divisions of higher educational institutions which are applied.

2. To department of the higher education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Korovaychenko Yu. M.) submit this order on state registration to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in the procedure established by the legislation.

3. Declare invalid the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine of June 20, 2003 No. 400/192 "About approval of the Regulations on military educational divisions of higher educational institutions", registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on October 27, 2003 for No. 978/8299 (with changes).

4. To impose control over the implementation of this order on the director of the department of the higher education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Korovaychenko Yu. M. and director of the department of military education and science of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine major general Tolok I. V.

5. This order becomes effective from the date of its official publication.

Regulations on military educational divisions of higher educational institutions

І. General provisions

1. This Provision determines powers of governing bodies of military educational divisions (military institutes, military colleges, faculties, departments of military preparation and department of medicine of catastrophic crashes and military medicine) of higher educational institutions (further - military educational divisions), procedure for passing by staff of military service, use of military property, arms and military equipment.

The provision extends the action to higher educational institutions irrespective of their subordination in which structure military educational divisions function.

2. The provision is developed according to the Laws of Ukraine "About education", "About the higher education", "About conscription and military service", the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of February 1, 2012 No. 48 "About approval of the Procedure for carrying out military training of students of higher educational institutions according to the program of training of reserve officers".

3. Military educational divisions are created, will be reorganized and liquidated by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the representation of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (further - the Ministry of Defence) approved with the central executive bodies to which higher educational institutions are subordinated (further - HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION).

4. Military educational divisions function on purpose:

preparation, retraining and advanced training of military specialists of different educational and qualification levels for passing of military service under the contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, another formed according to the laws of Ukraine on military forming, and also law enforcement agencies of special purpose and the Public special service of transport (further - the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military forming);

military training of students HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION according to the program of training of reserve officers;

organizations and carrying out scientific, scientific and technical activities;

training of scientific, scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers for Armed Forces and other military forming;

implementation of military patriotic education.
