The agrarian sector of Ukraine which basic component is the agricultural industry is backbone in national economy, creates bases of preserving sovereignty of the state - food and in certain limits economic, ecological and energy security, provides development of technologically connected industries of economy and creates social and economic bases of development of the rural territories.
Except stable providing the population of the country with high-quality, safe, available food, the agrarian sector is capable of powerful contribution to the solution of world problem of hunger.
Further entry into world economic space, strengthening of processes of globalization, trade liberalization requires adaptation to constantly change, and respectively - further enhancement of agrarian policy.
The Ukrainian agrarian sector with production potential that considerably exceeds requirements of the domestic market, can promote development of national economy and its effective integration into world economic space and consequently, to growth of the income of the rural population involved in agrarian economy which number makes more than a third of all population of the country, and also to provide multiplicative effect of development of other industries of economy.
