About modification and amendments in the Law on acts of civil status No. 100-XV of April 26, 2001

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on acts of civil status No. 100-XV of April 26, 2001 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2001, Art. No. 97-99, 765), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. In Article 29:

in part (1):

Item b) after the word "floor" to add with the words "nationality or ethnic origin";

in Item е) to replace the words "and/or" with the word "or";

part (to state 4) in the following edition:

"(4) the Nationality or ethnic origin of the child is specified based on its statement under the personal liability after achievement of 16-year age by it.";

add Article with part (5) the following content:

"(5) the Nationality or ethnic origin of parents is specified based on their statement under the personal liability.".

2. In Article 30:

in part (1):

Item b) after the word "name" to add with words ", nationality or ethnic origin,";

c) to state Item in the following edition:

"c) surnames and names, nationality or ethnic origin of parents;";

part (to state 2) in the following edition:

"(2) the Nationality or ethnic origin of the child is specified based on its statement under the personal liability after achievement of 16-year age by it.";

add Article with part (3) the following content:

"(3) the Nationality or ethnic origin of parents is specified based on their statement under the personal liability.".

3. Item n) parts (Article 69 to state 2) in the following edition:

"n) statements under the personal liability for introduction of mark about nationality or ethnic origin.".
