1. Approve Rules of carrying out mediation (are applied).

2. This resolution becomes effective since January 24, 2014.

Rules of carrying out mediation

Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The these rules developed according to the Law of the Republic of Belarus "About mediation" determine general rules and requirements to carrying out mediation.

2. Mediation is carried out for the purpose of dispute settlement (disputes) of the parties by development of the mutually acceptable agreement by them.

3. Tasks of carrying out mediation are:

providing to the parties of possibility of independent settlement of the dispute which arose between them by recognition and mutual satisfaction of legitimate interests and requirements, reaching an agreement on conciliation;

assistance to the parties in development of mutually acceptable conditions of dispute settlement and preserving between them partner business relations.

4. The basic principles of carrying out mediation - voluntariness, conscientiousness, equality and cooperation of the parties, impartiality and independence of mediator, confidentiality.

5. The term of carrying out mediation is determined by the agreement on application of mediation with observance of relevant requirements of the procedural legislation.
