3. This Resolution becomes effective from the moment of its acceptance.

The appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to parliaments of the states - guarantors of safety of Ukraine and the international organizations

On March 1, 2014 the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia made the decision on possibility of use of armed forces of Russia in the territory of Ukraine. Even earlier the Russian troops entered on the territory of Ukraine in the Crimea under cover-up of protection of the Russian-speaking population.

These actions of the Russian Federation as permanent member of the UN Security Council which connects the Treaty of friendship with Ukraine cooperation and partnership, are inadmissible.

Actions of Russia is brazen violation of all basic principles of the international relations and undermine safety bases on the European continent.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine notes that Ukraine became the first and still single state in the world, voluntarily, on own initiative refused nuclear weapon and liquidated all its inventories under the international control.
