Rules of making of customs transactions in case of temporary storage of goods

I. General provisions

1. The rules of making of customs transactions in case of temporary storage of goods (further - Rules) developed on the basis and according to the Customs code of the Russian Federation (further - the Code), determine order of interaction of interested persons and customs authorities in case of temporary storage of goods, the list of the documents and data represented when placing goods under customs procedure of temporary storage, and also the reporting forms represented to customs authority.

2. Temporary storage of goods - customs procedure in case of which foreign goods are stored without payment of customs duties, taxes and without application to them of the restrictions set in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation about state regulation of foreign trade activity before their release according to certain customs regime or to their room under other customs procedure (article 99 of the Code).

3. Temporary storage (article 100 of the Code) of goods is performed in the warehouses of temporary storage (WTS) or in other places, specified in Chapter 12 of the Code.
