According to article 9.1 of the Federal law "About Procedure for Departure from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation" Government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. Approve enclosed:

Rules of conducting all-federal accounting of the issued passports of the citizens of the Russian Federation proving the identity of the citizens of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation including containing the electronic medium of information;

the list of the data fixed when conducting all-federal accounting of the issued passports of the citizens of the Russian Federation proving the identity of the citizens of the Russian Federation outside the territory of the Russian Federation including containing the electronic medium of information.

2. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2015.
