being guided by the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan of May 25, 1992, the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on military cooperation of March 28, 1994, the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on military and technical cooperation of March 28, 1994 and the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on production and scientific and technical cooperation of the companies of defense industries of March 28, 1994,

aiming to provide favorable conditions for development of military and technical cooperation,

recognizing need of ensuring protection of political, defense and economic interests of the states of the Parties by delivery of military products to the third countries,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the following concepts are applied:

"military products" - arms, military equipment, ammunition, spare parts, components, service, rear and other equipment, technical documentation (normative and technical, design, technological, operational and program), regulating military turnover of products, lease, financial leasing of arms and military equipment, scientific and technical assistance in the organization of development, production, upgrade, repair, operation and destruction (utilization) of military products;
