About additional measures for further enhancement of protection and use of objects of material, cultural and archaeological heritage

For the purpose of further enhancement of system of protection and use of objects of material cultural and archaeological heritage, creation of conditions for comprehensive study, promoting and promotion of the unique objects of material cultural heritage which are national property of the people of Uzbekistan, increase in tourist capacity of Uzbekistan the Cabinet of Ministers decides:

1. Form Government commission on coordination of questions of protection and use of objects of cultural and archaeological heritage (further - Government commission) in structure according to appendix No. 1.

2. Determine the main objectives of Government commission:

coordination of interaction and activities of bodies of the public and economic board, the government on places, and also the non-state organizations of the Republic of Uzbekistan for protection and use of objects of cultural heritage;

preparation of offers on realization of the main directions of state policy in the field of protection and use of objects of cultural heritage;

consideration of the questions arising in the course of protection and use of objects of cultural and archaeological heritage, development and realization of system of measures for their decision;

approval of the annual list of objects of material cultural and archaeological heritage on which will be carried out conservation, restoration recovery work;

approval of the list of contract organizations for accomplishment conservation, restoration recovery work based on offers of the Main research and production protection department and to use of objects of cultural heritage of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

assistance to legal entities and physical persons in their activities for protection and use of objects of cultural heritage, to the warning of violations of the law of protection and use of objects of cultural and archaeological heritage.
