for the purpose of simplification of customs formalities in transit goods,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For this agreement the terms determined by the Bases of customs legislations of the State Parties of the CIS accepted by the Decision of heads of states of the Commonwealth of February 10, 1995 are used.

Article 2

The parties will provide that vehicles, the loads, baggage, mailings, currency, other means of payment and currency values following through customs border of the states of the Parties were supplied with the relevant documents meeting customs rules and the requirements of currency control of the states of the Parties and applied in freight, passenger traffic and in post exchange.

Article 3

The parties will mutually recognize customs papers, customs seals, prints of seals and stamps and official signs on vehicles, loads and mailings.

Article 4

The parties will exchange samples of the customs papers and customs providing mentioned in Article 2, and also lists of goods, import, export or transit of which through the territory of their states is limited or prohibited.

Article 5

The parties will notify each other on changes and amendments in the existing customs legislation, rules, office instructions and forms of customs papers and providing in a month.

Article 6

Movement of goods between customs authorities of the Parties will be performed according to legislations of the states of the Parties and with use of the Cargo customs declaration.
