1. This Instruction determines procedure for carrying out certification of notaries (further - certification).
2. Main objectives of certification are determination of the professional training level of notaries, their legal culture, assessment of business and personal qualities, capabilities of notaries to perform notarial activities.
3. Notaries undergo the next and extraordinary certifications.
4. The next certification is carried out after five years from the date of receipt of the certificate by the notary on implementation of notarial activities and each next five years.
5. Certification is carried out by the Qualification commission on questions of notarial activities (further - the Qualification commission).
Regional and Minsk city notarial chambers (further - territorial notarial chambers) till February 15 to the Qualification commission represent lists of the notaries who are subject to certification.
